Terms of service
Last updated: March 19, 2026
Welcome to Memoir
Memoir is a personal memory companion. It helps you capture, organize, and revisit moments, relationships, decisions, and reflections that matter in your life.
By using Memoir, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Using Memoir
You may use Memoir only in lawful ways and only for personal or otherwise permitted use.
You are responsible for the content you add, record, upload, or connect to Memoir. Please make sure you have the right to share it and that it does not violate anyone else's rights, privacy, or safety.
You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with it, try to access accounts that are not yours, or use Memoir to harm others.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account information secure and for any activity that happens under your account.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us as soon as possible.
We may suspend or restrict access if we believe there is a security risk, misuse, fraud, or a violation of these Terms.
Your content
Your memories, uploads, and personal information belong to you.
You give us permission to host, process, and use that content only as needed to operate, improve, and protect Memoir, and to provide the features you ask us to provide.
We do not claim ownership of your content.
Third-party services
Memoir may let you connect services such as Calendar, Photos, or location-based features.
When you connect a third-party service, you also agree to that provider's terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for services we do not control.
Ending your account
You may stop using Memoir at any time.
You may also request deletion of your account and data through the app or by contacting us at hello@memoirllm.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or misuse the service.
Service changes
We may update, improve, pause, or discontinue parts of Memoir over time.
We will try to give reasonable notice when changes materially affect your use of the service.
Limitation of liability
We work hard to make Memoir thoughtful, secure, and reliable, but no service is perfect.
Memoir is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect accuracy, or that the service will always meet every expectation or need.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Memoir and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, relationships, opportunities, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
If the law allows liability to be limited, our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
